Is Lost on Netflix?
No, and the date it left depends on where you live. The gap between the two is nearly five months.
In the United States it went on 1 January 2026, with 31 December 2025 as the last viewing day. Outside the United States it went on 15 August 2025, on the same day in every international region that had it.
That gap is the reason most articles on this question are wrong for most readers. They report the American date as though it were global, so a reader in the Netherlands or the UK is told the series left nearly five months later than it actually did.

All six seasons are on Hulu in the United States.
Outside the US they are on Disney+, under the hub Disney renamed from Star to Hulu in October 2025.

Why it left, and why it came back before that
Lost is a Disney series. Disney owns Hulu and Disney+, so the permanent home was never in doubt.
What Disney sells Netflix is a window. On 11 December 2023 it licensed fourteen library titles to Netflix in the United States on a non-exclusive basis, among them Lost, Prison Break, This Is Us, How I Met Your Mother and Home Improvement. Those arrived on Netflix in stages through 2024 and stayed for a fixed term.
The two windows were sold separately, which is the whole explanation for the two dates. Disney published terms only for the American one. The United States got eighteen months from 1 July 2024. The rest of the world got twelve months from 15 August 2024. Both ran out. Nothing was pulled early.
The same licensing story explains the article next door: Prison Break left for the same reason, and in the United States at the end of that same January rather than on the same day.
So "it is gone for good" is not quite right either. Disney has shown it will sell another window when the price is right. It has already done it once, after a gap of years.
Where all six seasons are now
Hulu, in the United States
All six seasons are on Hulu, and on Disney+ for anyone with the bundle, because Hulu content now appears inside the Disney+ app.
One thing to watch: Disney is building a single combined app and says it is aiming for the end of 2026. Bundle subscribers have been able to sync their Hulu profile into Disney+ since 19 May 2026, but the standalone Hulu app is still running and Disney says it has no current plans to close it. That changes where you click, not what you can watch.
Disney+, outside the United States
Everywhere else the series sits on Disney+, filed under the Hulu content hub rather than in the main Disney catalogue. That hub was called Star until Disney renamed it on 8 October 2025, and Japan is the only country where the Star name survives.
If Disney+ appears not to have the series, check that the hub is visible on the profile you are using. Parental settings hide it completely, and that is the most common reason people conclude a title is missing when it is not.
Free, in the United Kingdom
ITVX carries Lost free with advertising. For a UK reader that is the cheapest route and it is easy to miss, because free tiers rarely appear in availability guides.
Check your own country
Open Netflix, signed in, on your ordinary connection, and search. If a title page loads without a play button, the series is not playable where you are.
Then count the seasons: six, and 121 episodes. Lower counts of 120 or 118 come from how the multi-part episodes are counted, and Lost has several: the two-part pilot, the three-part "Exodus", the three-part "There's No Place Like Home" and the two-part finale.
What a VPN does and does not do here
