Is The 100 on Netflix?
No. On 27 September 2026 The 100 was on Netflix in none of the 11 markets we checked: the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Australia, New Zealand, India, Brazil and Mexico. It left the US on 18 December 2025 when the licence expired. Netflix runs in more than 190 markets, so that is 11 confirmed absences, not a global statement.
What most pages say next is wrong. Between 18 December 2025 and the end of April 2026 the series had no subscription home in the US. Since May 2026 all seven seasons have been free with ads on Pluto TV in the US. Pages still saying you can only buy it point American readers at up to $174.93 they need not spend.
Elsewhere the replacement is local, not Netflix: Prime Video in nine of the 11 markets, HBO Max in France and Australia, nothing to stream in Germany.

The claim you will see everywhere is out of date
ComicBook.com wrote on 11 December 2025 that the series "doesn't currently stream outside of Netflix" and that only buying or a physical copy would remain. Netflix Junkie said on 19 November 2025 that there were no free options. Both were correct then, and both are wrong now.
Paramount announced on 13 April 2026 that The 100 was coming to Pluto TV. Collider reported on 17 April that it would land on 1 May. Announced 13 April, live 1 May: that 18 day gap is where copied pages promise something before it exists. Our own limits: the April date comes from Google News metadata, the 1 May date rests on Collider alone, and pluto.tv would not load from this server, so we have not seen the seasons in the app.

Buying versus subscribing: do the sum
US: $149.94 to $174.93 for seven seasons depending on the store, against free on Pluto TV, so buying only makes sense if you want it ad free or offline. UK: £69.93 to own, against one month of the Amazon plan that already carries it, so owning the set costs several times a single month of streaming. Name the plan and its price only once you have checked it on amazon.co.uk, because the cheapest route is the Prime Video only plan rather than full Prime membership. That is about 7.8 times the price of one binge, and pays back after roughly eight unbroken months. Australia: A$209.93 is about 21 months of HBO Max at its cheapest advertised rate, A$119.99 a year for the ad tier, and 9Now has it free anyway. Germany has no subscription side to the sum.
One season is a different calculation. In the UK a season is about one month of the subscription that already carries the show, and in Australia about three months of HBO Max, so buying season 7 to finish it can be rational. In the US and Germany there is no subscription to compare it with.
Why the rights are this scattered
The 100 is a co-production: Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, through Bonanza Productions, the joint Warner and CBS entity used for CW shows. Each parent has run a rival service, HBO Max on the Warner side, Paramount+ and Pluto TV on the CBS side, which is why a shared title gets licensed market by market. That split is closing. Paramount Skydance agreed on 27 February 2026 to buy Warner Bros. Discovery for $110bn, cleared the Department of Justice in June 2026 and the European Commission in July 2026, settled with state attorneys general on 21 September 2026 and expected to complete by 30 September 2026. On 27 September 2026 the deal had not closed, so the licences are still split. Neither can lock up a shared title, so it gets licensed market by market.
That is why the obvious assumption fails. Collider wrote on 23 November 2025 that "HBO Max remains the show's U.S. streaming home", yet our check finds it on HBO Max in France and Australia and not in the US.
What we could not establish
We checked 11 of Netflix's 190 plus markets. The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Japan and South Africa returned 404s on JustWatch itself. A spot check of the same JustWatch data through TMDB on 27 September 2026 showed no Netflix listing in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy or Japan, with Prime Video in the Netherlands and Spain, HBO Max and Prime Video in Italy, and Hulu Japan, U-NEXT and HBO Max on U-NEXT in Japan. Sweden, Poland and South Africa we could not check at all, so those three are unknown rather than cleared. What's on Netflix records Netflix Netherlands losing the series in May 2023, and we could not verify what has it there now. JustWatch lists Prime Video as included in nine of the 11 markets, every one except the US and Germany, but it sometimes confuses Prime inclusion with a paid channel. Whether Pluto TV carries the series outside the US is unverified. A Collider headline of 6 March 2026 about 100 free episodes looked like a conflict, but Collider's own The 100 tag page dates its Pluto TV piece to May 2026 and its March 2026 piece to purchase charts, so that headline is probably a different series. We could not open it to confirm.
What a VPN does and does not do here
A VPN changes the network location your connection appears to come from. It does not change your billing region, it does not add a title to a plan that lacks it, and it can conflict with a service's terms. The 100 was absent from Netflix in every market we checked, so no server location puts it back.

No. Seven seasons, 100 episodes, 19 March 2014 to 30 September 2020. A prequel pilot called Anaconda aired on 8 July 2020 as episode 8 of season 7, but The CW dropped the prequel in November 2021.
