Is Sons of Anarchy on Netflix?
No, and it has not been for years. This is one of the rare cases where the answer looks the same everywhere. On 26 September 2026 we checked the Netflix catalogues in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Germany, France, Belgium, Australia and India, and the series was in none of them.
It left Netflix in the United States on 1 December 2018 and disappeared from around twenty-one international Netflix regions in early 2022. Since then it has been Disney territory.

Worth knowing before you go looking, because it wastes people's time.
The URL netflix.com/title/70143844 is still live and still turns up in Google results for this question. A Netflix title page existing is not the same as the title being playable on your account, and for this series it is not playable on any account.
The test is always the play button, never the search result.
Why it left, and why a return looks unlikely
Sons of Anarchy was made by FX. Disney bought 21st Century Fox in 2019, and the withdrawal from Netflix began before that deal even closed: the series went in December 2018, as part of a broader pull-back of Fox and FX titles.
Internationally the removal came later and followed the same logic. Disney+ launched its general entertainment hub outside the United States in February 2021, and the FX catalogue landed there. The Netflix regions lost the series about a year after that.
There is one useful piece of evidence that this is settled rather than temporary. In December 2023 Disney did license fourteen library titles back to Netflix in the United States, including Lost, Prison Break, Archer and White Collar, on a non-exclusive deal that ran to the summer of 2025. Sons of Anarchy was not among them. Disney was willing to rent out part of its catalogue and chose to keep this one at home.
Where all seven seasons actually are
Hulu, in the United States
All seven seasons. One caveat: on 26 September 2026 JustWatch flagged the Hulu offer as expiring in late October 2026. Nothing from Disney or Hulu confirms that, so check the play button before you pay for a month. For anyone with the Disney+ bundle the same series also appears inside the Disney+ app, because Hulu content now surfaces there.
Disney+, almost everywhere else
Outside the United States the series sits on Disney+, under the general entertainment hub that Disney renamed from Star to Hulu on 8 October 2025. Japan is the one market that kept the Star name, because the Hulu brand there belongs to Nippon Television.
If Disney+ appears not to have it, check the hub is visible on your profile. Parental controls and a lower age rating hide that shelf completely, and that is the most common reason people think a title is absent.
Canada is the exception worth naming: alongside Disney+ the series is also on Crave and Citytv+ there.
India, where there is currently no legal stream
At the time of checking, Sons of Anarchy was not available on any legal streaming service in India. We found no digital purchase option in India either, so the disc sets are the only route we could confirm.
The spin-off is separate
Mayans M.C. is its own series with its own rights. Finding one tells you nothing about the other, and people conflate them constantly because they share a creator and a universe.
What a VPN does and does not do here
A VPN changes the network location your connection appears to come from. It does not change your Netflix billing region and it cannot produce a title that exists on no Netflix catalogue anywhere.
For this series there is no Netflix region to reach, so the practical question is whether a VPN helps reach Hulu or Disney+ from outside their markets.
