Is Person of Interest on Netflix?
It depends on the country. Outside the United States the series is back on Netflix: announced 4 February 2026, live 4 March 2026. On 27 September 2026 all five seasons were there in fifteen of the eighteen markets checked, on the standard plan and on Standard with adverts. In the United States it is not: it left on 22 September 2020 and no return has been announced.
That split is what most pages get wrong. They answer once, for one country, usually America. "Not on Netflix" was true in the US from September 2020 and wrong for most of these markets since 4 March 2026. "It is back on Netflix" is false in the US, where most of the people asking sit.
One check before searching. This is the CBS series with Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson, 2011 to 2016. Other titles share the name, including a British television film from 2024, so check the year and the cast before you start watching.

Where it is on Netflix and where it is not
Read on 27 September 2026, all five seasons present on the standard plan and on Standard with adverts: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, India, South Africa and Turkey. Not on Netflix in two of the other three markets checked, the United States and Japan. South Korea returned no listing from any service at all, as likely a gap in the data as a real absence.
Eighteen markets were checked and Netflix runs in more than 190, so this page says nothing about the rest. The deal's full country list was never published; the announcement named only the UK, Canada, Australia, Latin America and parts of Europe.
Which service holds it in each market
Warner Bros. Television licenses market by market, so several markets carry it on two services at once. Read on 27 September 2026:
Netflix only: Poland, Brazil, Mexico, India, South Africa.
Netflix and Prime Video: UK, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey.
Netflix and one other: Canada with Paramount+, Australia with BINGE, Sweden with Viaplay, the Netherlands with HBO Max as an Amazon channel.
Germany: Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max including as an Amazon channel, and free with adverts on Joyn.
No Netflix: the United States, on Prime Video and Peacock, and Japan, on Hulu Japan and U-NEXT. South Korea returned no listing on any service, so nothing is claimed for it.
All five seasons are there wherever the series is on Netflix, and on Prime Video and Peacock in the US. How much of the run the other services carry was not checked. Seasons also sell through Apple TV and Amazon Video in most western markets, though no purchase route appeared in Brazil, Mexico, Poland or South Africa.
Buying against subscribing
Buying all five seasons costs a multiple of one month on a service that already carries them, so to watch it through once, subscribe. One season is a different sum and can pay off for a rewatch: check the price of that season, not the box set.
Why the United States is the exception
Warner Bros. Television made the series with Kilter Films and Bad Robot for CBS, holds distribution, and belongs to Warner Bros. Discovery, which runs its own services. That is why the series left US Netflix in September 2020: the owner pulled it in house instead of renewing. The 2026 licensing wave reverses that policy, and the US was left out.
Paramount Skydance announced the takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery on 27 February 2026 and cleared its regulatory steps through the year, but on 27 September 2026 it had not closed. Paramount Skydance has said it intends to merge Paramount+ and HBO Max into one service if the takeover closes, and no date for that has been set. The last state antitrust challenge was settled out of court on 21 September 2026, so the close was expected within weeks. An owner with two services of its own is the usual reason a Netflix licence lapses, but announced is not in force.
What this page could not establish
The end dates of the Netflix licences are not public, so no one can say how long the series stays. It could disappear quietly, as it did in 2020. When it left HBO Max in the United States is not established: it is simply absent from current American listings.
Each market rests on one availability aggregator chain, read on one date. Aggregators lag catalogue changes by days and are not confirmation from the service itself, so "not listed" is not "proven absent". No prices were checked, and the free Joyn route in Germany was not checked for permanence.
