Is Peaky Blinders on Netflix?
Yes. On 27 September 2026 we checked 48 Netflix markets live. All six series were on Netflix in every one, the US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, India, Japan, Brazil and Australia included. Netflix runs in more than 190 markets and we measured 48.
The pages saying it has gone are recycling a badge. One aggregator still shows "Peaky Blinders (Season 6), Leaving Netflix Soon, Sep 18, 2024" for the American catalogue. The live catalogue contradicts it. Most removal claims trace back to a stale flag, or to one regional list written up as worldwide fact.
The UK has a second half: all six series are also free on BBC iPlayer with a TV Licence, because the BBC commissioned the show.
All six series were on Netflix in all 48 markets we checked. That leaves more than 140 markets we did not check.
The "leaving Netflix" story rests on an expired 2024 badge for series six in the US.
The Real Story (2026) and The True Story (2016) are documentaries, not on Netflix, and not the drama.

The four titles people mix up
The drama (2013, six series, 36 episodes) is on Netflix, title 80002479. The film, The Immortal Man (2026), is on Netflix too, title 81319485, along with its companion podcast.
The documentaries are not. The Real Story (2026) is on Prime Video in the US and the UK, and we could not find it in Germany or the Netherlands. The True Story (2016) is buy or rent only. The Real Story is on Prime Video, not Netflix. That is a fact about the documentary, not about the drama.
What else carries it, and what buying costs
In the US, Netflix is the only subscription option: no free tier, no Prime Video. In the UK, iPlayer removes the reason to buy: the complete series is £33.94 in HD at Amazon, against £0 on iPlayer with a TV Licence. We did not verify the Apple or Sky purchase prices. Sky Go carries it there too.
France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway and Denmark add Prime Video. Germany and Austria add Prime Video Free with Ads. The Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, India and Japan were Netflix only. India is Netflix here, not JioHotstar.
Now the sum, prices verified only for the US. Netflix is $8.99 a month with adverts, $19.99 Standard and $26.99 Premium, from help.netflix.com with an American IP. The complete series costs $51.80 in HD at Amazon Video, or $59.95 at the Apple TV Store. The cheaper purchase is 2.6 months of Standard, and 36 episodes is about one month of watching, so subscribing wins. One exception: a single season at $11.94 to $11.99 beats a month of Standard and loses to the advert tier. We have no verified Netflix price for the UK, the Netherlands or Germany.
Who owns it, and why that matters
Banijay owns the rights outright. Banijay has stated that it owns 100% of the Peaky Blinders rights, following its acquisition of Caryn Mandabach Productions in 2024. It bought Caryn Mandabach Productions in June 2024.
Banijay is a producer, not a streamer, and licensing is the business model. There is no Banijay service to reclaim the title for, unlike titles owned by Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount or NBCUniversal, which get pulled back to their owners' apps.
Netflix is a commissioner here too. In October 2025 the BBC and Netflix announced a sequel series, produced by Kudos and Garrison Drama. Principal photography began in March 2026. Filming began in March 2026. No transmission date has been announced, so nothing is watchable yet. Delete this sentence. No replacement.
What we could not establish
We measured 48 of Netflix's 190 plus markets. No Netflix offer carried an end date, but Netflix does not publish licence end dates in that field, so that is not evidence of permanence. We know the licence term for no country.
Two end dates we did see belong to other services: Sky Go in the UK and Ireland ends 3 April 2027, the Amazon UK purchase listing on 30 September 2026. Both come from JustWatch metadata, unchecked against Sky or Amazon.
Vietnam returned zero offers, but so did our control title, so the Vietnam reading tells us nothing either way. Unknown, not negative.
Our search budget was thin: we found no removal announcement anywhere, which is not proof there is none. Search the title in your own account.
What a VPN does and does not do here
A VPN changes the network location your connection appears to come from. That is all it changes. It does not change your billing region, it does not add a title to your plan, and using one can conflict with a service's terms of use.
For this title you do not need one. In all 48 markets we checked, the series was already on the local Netflix, so any page telling you to connect elsewhere was wrong everywhere we measured.
