Is Grimm on Netflix?
No. Grimm is not on Netflix in any of the 18 markets checked on 27 September 2026, the United States included. The reason differs by territory, and that is where almost every rival page goes wrong.
Outside the United States it did sit on Netflix and was taken off. What's on Netflix announced that on 14 December 2019; it took effect on 5 January 2020 across 32 Netflix regions. In the United States there was nothing to remove: per the same publisher the series has never been on Netflix US, and the American subscription rights sit with Amazon Prime Video and Peacock instead.
So if you came here with a VPN in mind, none of the 18 Netflix libraries checked was found carrying the series, and the 2020 removal took it out of 32 regions at once. The libraries outside those 18 were not checked.

The mistake almost every rival page makes
The first error is "Grimm was removed from Netflix" with no country named. True outside the United States, false inside it. Even outside it, the removal hit 32 Netflix regions on one date, not the 190-plus countries Netflix serves. Telling an American reader the show left Netflix describes an event that never happened where they live.
The second is mistaken identity. The Grimm Variations, a six-episode Netflix anime from 2024, is on Netflix, so searching "Grimm" plus "Netflix" gives a real hit on the wrong title. The 2005 Terry Gilliam film The Brothers Grimm gets muddled in too, and in the US that one is on Paramount+ via Amazon Channel.
The third is presenting a plan as a route. A reboot film is in development at Peacock, announced 6 January 2025 and first reported by Deadline, written by Josh Berman: no cast, no shooting start, no release date. All episodes sat on The CW's website from 2023 to 2025, and that window has closed. Some countries also show an "Apple TV" tile with a free trial in the subscription block. That is an advert, not a catalogue entry.

Buying a season versus subscribing
No prices here: they differ by store, country and tier, and they go stale. Buying all six seasons from a digital store usually costs several times one month of a subscription, while buying one season often does not. For the whole run, a US viewer is cheaper off on Peacock, or free on The Roku Channel.
Why the rights sit where they do
Grimm came from Universal Television, the studio arm of NBCUniversal, which belongs to Comcast. Comcast runs Peacock, a direct Netflix rival, and a studio with its own service parks its catalogue there. The same ownership explains the pattern abroad: in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland the show runs through Sky brands, and Sky is Comcast-owned too.
What is not known
Eighteen markets were checked: the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico and India. Netflix serves more than 190 countries, so nothing has been established about the rest, Japan and South Korea included.
The full list of the 32 regions that lost the series in January 2020 was never published. Seven were named: the United Kingdom, Australia, mainland Europe, Mexico, Turkey, Thailand and South Korea.
The claim that it was never on Netflix US rests on one specialist publisher, not on Netflix or NBCUniversal. The page carrying that claim is out of date elsewhere. It still lists Grimm as streaming on Netflix in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland and Germany, which stopped being true in January 2020. Peacock's own international footprint could not be pinned down: sources disagree over which Sky countries keep Peacock access. Peacock appeared as a Grimm route in none of the 17 non-US markets checked.
