Is Glee on Netflix?
Two claims about this show get copied endlessly, and both fail the same way. "Glee left Netflix" is a United States fact written as a global one. "Glee is on Disney+ now" is confirmed in eighteen checked markets and written as a worldwide one. Netflix runs in more than 190 countries; the guide used here counts about forty where Glee streams at all.
The answer on 27 September 2026 is no, in all 21 markets checked. In the United States it left Netflix in December 2021 after more than seven years, spent about a year on Prime Video, then reached Disney+ and Hulu on 1 June 2022. Elsewhere Disney+ was the primary subscription route in every checked market that has it, and three have nothing, not even rental: India, the Philippines and South Africa. The other 170-odd Netflix countries are unestablished, so search your own account.

The three mistakes almost every page makes
The first is treating one territory as the world. The December 2021 exit is documented for the United States. For most other countries nobody has established when a Netflix licence ended, or whether there was one. The reverse error is as common: "on Disney+" gets written as everywhere, while three of the 21 have no route.
The second is Hulu. In the United States it is a separate subscription and a real second route. Internationally, since 8 October 2025, Hulu is only the new name of the Disney+ hub formerly called Star, Japan excepted. That was a rename, not a move of the show. Disney announced on 6 August 2025 that it will fold the Hulu apps into Disney+, and as late as May 2026 it confirmed no current plan to shut the standalone Hulu app. Announced is not live. Star+ closed in July 2024, and Disney+ Hotstar in India became JioHotstar in February 2025.
The third is mixing up titles. Several things are called Glee. None continues the series.
Where Glee actually streams
All 18 checked markets that carry it use Disney+, with all six seasons: the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan and Indonesia. None carried a partial catalogue.
Extras exist: Hulu in the United States, Yle Areena free in Finland, Tele2 Play in Sweden, rental via Amazon Video and FOD in Japan, and purchase or rental in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and France, in stores that differ per market.
Do the sum before buying. Buying 121 episodes outright normally costs several times one month of a subscription, so a month of Disney+ wins. One season often does not cross that line, so a season one rewatch can be cheaper to buy. Check the season you actually want. In Brazil the title is "Glee: Em Busca da Fama".
Why a Netflix return is unlikely
Glee came from 20th Century Fox Television, for Fox. That studio is now 20th Television, Disney-owned since the 21st Century Fox takeover completed in March 2019. The rights holder runs Disney+ and Hulu, two direct Netflix competitors, and a six-season library title holds subscribers. A return looks improbable. That is an inference from ownership, not announced policy.
Titles called Glee that are not the series
Each has its own rights and route: Glee: The 3D Concert Movie (2011, released by 20th Century Fox), The Glee Project (Oxygen, 2011 to 2012), Gleeful: The Real Show Choirs of America (E4, 7 June 2010), and Glee Viet Nam (2017 Vietnamese remake). The Price of Glee, a three-part documentary that premiered on 16 January 2023, runs in the United States on Investigation Discovery and discovery+, so neither Disney nor Netflix.
The reboot is not a show. In September 2026 Ryan Murphy said the script was finished and ten cast members had shown interest. No commission, no production start, no release date.

Twenty-one markets were checked: the 18 above plus India, the Philippines and South Africa. Beyond those it is reasoning from ownership. Nothing is claimed for Ireland or South Korea. The forty-odd countries with availability are a count, not a named list. For the US exit the month is known, December 2021, not the day. Whether Glee ever ran on Netflix outside the United States is unknown. The Yle Areena and Tele2 Play routes rest on one guide each. In Australia that guide showed BINGE, which was an advertisement block, not an offering.
