Is Euphoria on Netflix?
No. Euphoria is not on Netflix in any of the fourteen markets I checked on 27 September 2026, and I found no credible source pointing anywhere else. It is an HBO original owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, which runs HBO Max itself. The rights stay in the family.
HBO Max is the home in eleven of them: the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. Canada runs it on Crave, India on JioHotstar and Japan on U-NEXT, and in South Africa JustWatch lists no service carrying it at all. India runs it on JioHotstar. Japan is exclusive to U-NEXT. In South Africa, JustWatch lists no service carrying it at all.
Fourteen markets is not the world. Netflix operates in more than 190, and JustWatch lists Euphoria in 42 countries in total, so roughly 28 of them I did not check one by one. So I cannot prove Netflix has it nowhere. I can say it has it in none of the markets I looked at.

Netflix agreed to buy Warner Bros. on 5 December 2025 and walked away on 26 February 2026. Paramount Skydance won, and that deal had not closed as of 27 September 2026.
There is a different Euphoria on Netflix: the 2018 Italian film Euforia. That explains much of the confusion.
Three seasons, 26 episodes including two specials, finished 31 May 2026. One month of HBO Max beats buying it.
Three reasons other pages get this wrong
First, an invented licence. HBO did license a batch of shows to Netflix in 2023: Insecure, Ballers, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Six Feet Under, and True Blood internationally. Euphoria was not in it and has never been named in any reporting about it.
Second, the wrong Euphoria. Netflix has carried a title called Euphoria: the 2018 Italian film Euforia by Valeria Golino. A catalogue tracker says it left Netflix US on 2 May 2021, a date I did not verify. There is also Euphoria (2017) with Alicia Vikander, and the Israeli series Euphoria (2012) the HBO version is based on.
Third, an announcement read as a live date. HBO Max launches in Japan on 1 October 2026 as a hub inside Prime Video and Hulu Japan, with Euphoria named in the launch list. That is four days after this page was verified. Today Japan is still U-NEXT only.
The Netflix takeover that did not happen
Netflix really did agree to buy Warner Bros. on 5 December 2025, at 82.7 billion dollars enterprise value. Paramount Skydance opened a hostile cash bid three days later. Netflix refused to raise on 26 February 2026 and left. Paramount announced its own agreement the next day at 31.00 dollars a share, around 110 billion dollars enterprise value. Shareholders approved on 23 April 2026 and Paramount settled with California, eleven other states and the WGA on 21 September 2026.
On 27 September 2026 that deal had still not closed, as far as I can establish. The stated plan afterwards is to merge Paramount+ with HBO Max, keeping HBO as a creative brand. Netflix has no part in it. The owner may change within weeks. The destination does not.
Where it actually streams
The United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, India and South Africa were checked live on 27 September 2026. Japan rests on a U-NEXT press release. The remaining territories below follow from HBO Max launch announcements, not from a check I ran.
United States: HBO Max, also as an HBO Max Amazon Channel. Prices since 21 October 2025: 10.99 dollars with ads, 18.49, 22.99.
Netherlands: HBO Max only. Prices since November 2025: 5.99, 11.99 and 16.99 euro.
United Kingdom and Ireland: HBO Max since 26 March 2026, plus NOW with three seasons and Sky Go with one, left over from the old Sky deal. Sky and NOW customers get the ad tier included.
Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein: HBO Max since 13 January 2026. Germany also shows WOW and Sky Go with partial seasons.
Italy, France, Spain and Sweden: HBO Max. Italy's Sky Go and NOW carry season 1 only. Spain adds Movistar Plus+ Ficción Total.
Canada: Crave at CA$11.99. Australia: HBO Max, BINGE and Foxtel Now. Brazil and Mexico: HBO Max.
India: JioHotstar at 149 rupees a month. Japan: U-NEXT, season 3 from 13 April 2026, and U-NEXT alone only until 1 October 2026, when HBO Max opens
there as a hub inside Prime Video and Hulu Japan with Euphoria in the launch line-up. South Africa: nothing.
Where a legacy Sky window shows only season 1 or 2, HBO Max is the route to the full run.
Buying versus one month of a subscription
US figures, the best sourced. Apple TV Store and Fandango At Home both list seasons from 22.99 dollars, so the full run is roughly 69 dollars if all three carry that price. Amazon Video from 14.99 a season is 44.97. Against HBO Max with ads at 10.99 a month, that is 6.3 and 4.1 months. Against the ad-free tier at 18.49, it is 3.7 and 2.4 months. One season is the closer call. At 22.99 dollars it is just over two months of the ad tier, but Amazon's 14.99 season is under a month and a half, and less than one month of the ad-free tier. The story is finished and 26 episodes fit inside a month, so buying only wins if you want to own it permanently.
What I could not establish
Thirteen markets were checked live on JustWatch before it rate-limited me with HTTP 429. Japan, South Korea and Poland were never checked live, and roughly 28 licensed countries were not checked one by one. The Netherlands rests on FilmVandaag alone, because the Dutch JustWatch URL returned 404 then 429, so it is weaker than the other thirteen. Japan comes from a U-NEXT press release, not a live check. Buy prices are "from" prices seen on one day. JustWatch Germany contradicted itself on season counts, so I quote no per-provider count there. For South Korea I have only a weak 2021 hint about Wavve, so I claim nothing. And the Paramount deal may have closed since.
What a VPN does and does not do here
A VPN changes the network location your connection appears to come from. That is the whole mechanism. It does not change your billing region, it does not add a title to a plan you pay for, and it cannot create a Netflix licence that no Netflix market holds. For this series there is no Netflix country to travel to.
The defensible use is the reverse. You already pay for HBO Max, NOW, Crave, BINGE, U-NEXT or JioHotstar, you are abroad, and you want your own subscription to behave normally. The short answer
No, and not in any of the fourteen markets I checked on 27 September 2026. HBO Max carries all three seasons in eleven of them, JioHotstar in India, U-NEXT in Japan, and nothing at all in South Africa. Netflix tried to buy the owner and lost, so a Netflix home got less likely this year, not more.

Will Euphoria come to Netflix after the Warner Bros. sale?
Nothing in the announced plan points that way. Netflix withdrew on 26 February 2026, Paramount Skydance won, and Paramount intends to merge HBO Max with Paramount+ once the deal closes. That is a different owner running a rival service, not a move to Netflix.
Why does Netflix show a film called Euphoria then?

How many episodes are there, 24 or 26?
Both numbers appear for a reason. Three seasons of eight episodes is 24, plus two specials broadcast on 6 December 2020 and 24 January 2021. JustWatch counts 24 because it does not treat the specials as regular episodes. The full total is 26. The finale, "In God We Trust", aired on 31 May 2026 and HBO confirmed the ending the same day.
