Is Attack on Titan on Netflix?
No, not in the United States. A JustWatch check on 27 September 2026 returned Crunchyroll, Crunchyroll via Amazon Channels and Hulu for the US, and no Netflix for any season. Netflix US never held more than season 1, which left on 1 June 2023.
Yes, in at least ten markets: France, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain and Thailand, per atlasflix on 21 September 2026. Other trackers also list Netflix Hong Kong and Netflix Indonesia, both of which we were unable to measure, so treat ten as a floor and not as a count. We confirmed nine ourselves. Ten of more than 190 Netflix markets is at least 5 percent, so "not on Netflix" is as wrong as "Netflix dropped it".

The mistake almost every guide makes
Two questions get answered as one: is it on Netflix here, and is all of it here.
France and Italy show the cost of that. Netflix carries season 1 there and stops, so you pay for Crunchyroll anyway. In South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore, JustWatch maps Netflix to seasons 1 to 3 only. Japan is the one reading we do not trust. animeanime.jp reported on 19 April 2026 that Netflix carries The Final Season parts 1 and 2 plus the concluding episodes, with the ending in the per-episode television cut rather than the compiled edition, so the subscription does reach the end of the story there.
The ten Netflix countries, and how deep each goes

Spain: seasons 1 to 4. A second source supports it, because Espinof reported the two closing episodes arriving on Netflix Spain on 1 February 2025. Portugal: seasons 1 to 4, JustWatch alone. Japan: JustWatch mapped seasons 1 to 3, which conflicts with the Japanese-language listing above and is almost certainly an artefact of Netflix numbering the run differently, so we count Japan neither way. South Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore: 1 to 3, with season 4 on TVING and Watcha in Korea and Crunchyroll elsewhere. France and Italy: season 1 only. Malaysia: not measured.
Where it actually lives
Crunchyroll is the constant: present in 28 of the 31 markets we checked, all four seasons, sub and dub. Japan and Turkey were clear exceptions. India read as an exception too, but Crunchyroll announced the series for India on 15 August 2025, so treat that one as unresolved rather than as a gap.
In the US the other route is the Hulu catalogue, now inside Disney+. The Hulu series URL redirected to disneyplus.com when we tested it, and Disney+ listed all four seasons. The standalone Hulu app is being retired during 2026, with no date named.
Why this does not move to Netflix in the West
The manga is Hajime Isayama's, published by Kodansha. The anime came from a production committee, Wit Studio for seasons 1 to 3 and MAPPA for season 4, so no single studio can sell it.
The international streaming licence sits with Crunchyroll, and Crunchyroll is entirely Sony, since the $1.175 billion acquisition from AT&T closed on 9 August 2021. Sony runs a direct Netflix competitor and needs this title. We found no announced Netflix addition for the US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Canada or Australia, and no announced removal in the ten markets that carry it.

JustWatch showed the complete series in the US at $97.96 on Amazon Video and $105.96 on Apple TV. Crunchyroll Fan is $9.99 a month since 4 March 2026. At $97.96 that is nearly ten months of Crunchyroll Fan for 94 episodes, roughly 37 hours, which most viewers finish inside a single billing month. Buying the lot only pays if you want to own it. Per season it flips: season 1 in SD at $16.99 is about 1.7 months. We did not open Amazon or Apple ourselves.
What we could not verify
We measured 31 markets live, not 190. Outside Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, the UAE and Poland, whole regions rest on atlasflix alone. JustWatch began returning HTTP 429 before Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and Vietnam were reached.
Per season depth is the weakest figure here. Netflix splits the series into more seasons than JustWatch recognises, up to seven in Asia, which is how the Japan error happens. Treat the Spain, Portugal, France and Italy readings as single source. We verified nothing on Netflix's own site: every netflix.com title request from our machine returned 404.

Did Netflix remove Attack on Titan?
Netflix US removed season 1, the only season it ever had, on 1 June 2023. That date comes from Netflix US departure listings rather than from Netflix itself, so we report it rather than confirm it. Season 2 never arrived on Netflix US at all. Nothing suggests removal in the ten countries that carry it now.
Is season 1 still free on Crunchyroll?
No. Crunchyroll closed its free ad-supported tier on 31 December 2025 and has been subscription only since 1 January 2026. There was no formal announcement: the notice appeared inside the player in place of a scheduled advert, and coverage began on 7 December 2025. JustWatch still shows a free Crunchyroll option in six markets we checked, which is stale data.
