Is 1923 on Netflix?
Almost every page answers this with one word. That is the error. It is three facts, and dropping any one makes the answer useless: not in the United States, yes in some other countries, and where Netflix has it, season one only.
Checked in eighteen markets on 27 September 2026. Netflix carried season one in eight: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina. Austria was flagged for removal on that same date, so it may already have dropped out. It was absent in ten: the United States, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, Australia, New Zealand and India.
Season two was on no Netflix catalogue in any of the eighteen. Start the series on Netflix and you hit a wall halfway through.

Both seasons sit together on Paramount+, SkyShowtime, JioHotstar or BINGE by market.

Why the single yes or no fails
A country-by-country licence keeps getting reported as a global one. Neighbours do not predict each other: Germany and Austria have it, Switzerland does not, one language area with two outcomes. France has it, Spain and Portugal do not. And a plain yes never mentions that season one is the ceiling.
Two smaller errors. Peacock gets named as the American home of 1923: it is not on the American listing today, and the American subscription route is Paramount+. Peacock has carried the parent series, Yellowstone. And on 27 September 2026 the Austrian Netflix entry was flagged for removal that same day, with no equivalent flag on any other checked market's Netflix entry and no trade report confirming a departure. One flag in one country is not "1923 is leaving Netflix".
Netflix in the United States: no
The American listing names Netflix nowhere, including under coming soon and leaving soon. The subscription routes are Paramount+ Essential and Premium, plus Paramount+ as a channel inside Amazon, Apple TV and Roku. Buying works too: Amazon Video, the Apple TV Store, Fandango at Home, DVD and Blu-ray.
Netflix did license roughly twenty Paramount series, announced on 20 January 2026: Mayor of Kingstown, SEAL Team, Watson, Matlock and The King of Queens were the named titles. 1923 was not among the named titles, and nor were 1883 or Yellowstone.
How season one got onto Netflix abroad
Two dates, not one. On 11 June 2025 it was reported that season one would go to Netflix in international territories. The start date was 9 July 2025, almost a month later. The reported scope was most of Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America including Brazil, with the United States excluded.
Holding season two back was deliberate, to push viewers to Paramount+ for the ending. Paramount, trading since the Skydance merger as Paramount Skydance, owns the series and runs Paramount+, a direct Netflix competitor. The question was how much could go to Netflix without cannibalising its own service.
Where both seasons live
Paramount+ carried both seasons in every checked market where it is sold standalone: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Australia. Ireland was not checked.
Where Paramount+ is not sold alone, SkyShowtime is the Paramount outlet and carried both seasons: Spain, Portugal, Poland, Sweden. India had both seasons on JioHotstar, the current name of that service. Anything still calling it Disney+ Hotstar is out of date.
Other routes: BINGE in Australia, Movistar Plus+ Ficción Total in Spain, Tele2 Play in Sweden, and Sky Store and Sky Go in the United Kingdom. Two carried season one only: Magenta TV+ in Germany and MovistarTV in Argentina. New Zealand had no subscription route at all, and the one purchase route, Amazon Video, offered season one alone.
Buying versus subscribing
Buying a complete series digitally normally costs several times one month of subscription, and both seasons sit on one subscription, so a single month covers everything. Buying one season can land nearer a month or two, and you keep it. Check the price of the season you want in your own store.
What this page does not establish
Eighteen markets against more than 190 Netflix countries. Nothing here covers the rest of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, eastern Europe beyond Poland, or the Nordics beyond Sweden. No listing was found for Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa or Japan, and a missing listing is not proof of absence: for the Netherlands and Belgium the position is unknown, not negative.
No licence end date is known in any market. Whether the Austrian removal flag was accurate, whether it was carried out, and whether it predicts anything elsewhere are all unknown. No announcement was found putting season two on Netflix anywhere.
The 2025 start dates are unconfirmed per country: 9 July 2025 was presented as uniform, and Canada sits outside that announcement's "Europe and Latin America" wording yet has a listing today. Fifteen of the roughly twenty January 2026 titles were never named. The series ran to sixteen episodes, eight per season, with the season two finale released as a two-hour double on 6 April 2025, which is why some listings count fifteen.
A September 2026 headline about Netflix cancelling a show after two seasons is not used here. 1923 ended to plan on Paramount+ in April 2025 and Netflix never produced it.
